Three guerrilla fighters were martyred in Gever (tr. Yüksekova) district of Hakkari in July and August, said the press center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) and announced their ID details as follows:

Rojda Cûdî comes from a patriotic family and was born in Afrin. She got to know the PKK as a child and joined the guerrillas. She assessed her participation in the guerrilla struggle as a "step towards a meaningful and free life". In the mountains, she was willing to go to the most difficult combat areas. Most recently, she fought in Gever and was involved in many successful actions against the Turkish army, HPG said.

Zana Vejîn was born into a patriotic family in Gever and was already politically active as a teenager. When the Turkish state destroyed entire neighborhoods in northern Kurdistan, she saw no more opportunity for her political work and joined the armed struggle. According to HPG, she quickly got used to life in the mountains and developed into a competent guerrilla fighter.

Serhat Tolhildan was born in Batman. His family was patriotic and had to migrate to the west of Turkey due to the state policy of displacement by impoverishment. He had to work at an early age to contribute to his family's livelihood. As a result, he developed a sense of responsibility and awareness of the reality of the Kurdish people in Turkey. In 2013, he joined the guerrillas and fought in different areas against ISIS and the Turkish army.

HPG offered their condolences to the families of the martyrs and the Kurdish people, stating, "We renew our pledge to successfully continue the struggle of our martyrs for a new world."
