Three people who were taken into custody in Nusaybin's Xerabê Bava village have been formally arrested.
Three people who were taken into custody in Nusaybin's Xerabê Bava village have been formally arrested.
In Xerabê Bava village of Mardin's Nusaybin district, as many as 43 people were taken into custody with torture during the a siege and aggression of state forces ongoing since February 11.
Out of the detainees, Vasfi Doğan, İsmail Ay, Mecit Bal, Mehmet Bal and Şükrü Koçhan were referred to court with a demand for their arrest.
After appearing at Nusaybin Criminal Court of Peace, Mehmet Bal and Şükrü Koçhan were released on condition of judicial control, while Vasfi Doğan, İsmail Ay and Mecit Bal were remanded in custody for allegedly “aiding and abetting a terrorist organization”.
The arrested locals were taken to Mardin E Type Closed Prison.
