Trustee appointed as headman
After the Kurucan neighborhood headman İbrahim Acar in Van’s Saray district was arrested, 4th associate Hekim Tekin has been appointed as trustee.
The headman of Kurucan neighborhood in Saray district was arrested last month with charges of “membership to a terrorist organization”.
The District Governor of Saray sprung into action after Acar’s arrest and appoined the 4h associate Hekim Tekin, known for being close to AKP, as a trustee.
The neighborhood residents we spoke to on the matter say the headman Acar was arrested unjustly and protest that their will has been ignored.
