Yüksekova District Governor Mahmut Kaşıkçı has been assigned as trustee to replace the jailed Deputy Co-mayor Adile Kozay who was jailed on December 8 for “membership to a terrorist organisation”.

The number of DBP-held municipalities seized through trustees appointed by Turkish Interior Ministry has thus risen to 45.
