The Mardin governate released a statement and declared a curfew in Ucyol, Dagici, Dibek and Guzelsu neighbourhoods of Nusaybin ahead of a Turkish military operation.
Another curfew was declared in Dargecit and Nusaybin yesterday but was lifted late Sunday night.
Turkish army declares curfews during military operations in recent years. Most of the curfews are declared in remote regions without a good communication infrastructure so usually not all the residents are informed about the practice on time.
