Turkish army dispatches tanks to Efrîn border

Turkish army has dispatched tanks to Efrîn border amid intensified clashes in Shehba region and reconnaissance activities over the border.

The Turkish army that has been carrying out airstrikes on revolutionary forces in Shehba region during the past two days has dispatched tanks to the border with Efrîn city of Rojava, West Kurdistan last night.

Eight tanks have been stationed on the border towards the area between Dêr Belût and Nesriyê villages in Efrîn's Cindires town.

On the other hand, Turkish military was also observed to be reinforcing howitzers to an outpost across the Merwaniyê village in Efrîn's Şiyê district and performing intensified reconnaissance activities over the border area.

Turkish army has fired at least 100 howitzer and mortar shells into Rojava's Efrîn Canton since October 19.
