Starting from early Tuesday morning, the Turkish army has launched a military operation in Mount Cudi region in the countryside of Şırnak province.

According to local sources, village guards – local civilian men armed by the state to fight against the Kurdish movement- are participating in the operation which involves the Bilika village and surroundings.
