Roj News Agency reported that the Turkish army conducted artillery attacks on Biradost and Sideka regions of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan territory.

The attack started at 00:30 Monday night and continued until 12:00 Tuesday noon, targeting Kaniya Reş, Şanşa, Çiyabend and Bernêza areas. 23 cannon balls hit the area and the attack resulted in no casualties but material damage.

The mentioned regions had also been attacked by Iran and Turkey before. With this most recent attack, Iranian and Turkish troops attacked this territory 25 times during 2017.
