Alongside the ongoing onslaught of state forces in the cities and towns of Northern Kurdistan, recently enhanced military operations in rural areas are inflicting a growing damage on the Kurdish territory.
While the fire in Mount Cudi - started by bombardments of warplanes and artillery attacks from Milli outpost in Gundikê Melê vicinity- continues, Turkish forces' attacks have started yet another fire in the area of Mount Gabar across Cudi.
The fire in the countryside between Berkevir territory and Cuneyt village was reportedly caused by the artillery strikes from Görmez Battalion, according to statements of locals. The fire erupted last night and continues to grow at the moment with huge smoke rising from the region.
Despite the villagers using their best endeavor to extinguish the fire, a large area has burnt to ashes already.
