Operations and attacks by the Turkish military against guerrillas continue despite the ongoing position of inaction declared by KCK on October 10.

HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office reported that the operation in Oremar and Binbir areas of Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district, as well as bombardments against guerrillas areas are going on.

TURKISH JETS SHELL AVASHIN

According to the HPG statement, Turkish jets have shelled Martyr Rahime and Martyr Gafur areas at the border to Avashin region of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones between 10:30-11:30 today.

ZAP REGION BOMBED

Troops at Serê Sevê guard post at the border to Zap region of Medya Defense Zones launched a bombardment against the area of Zap martyrs' cemetery between 17.00 - 17.30 yesterday.

Troops at Hill Sor guard post in Çukurca district of Hakkari shelled Hill Hakkari, Hill Martyr Eriş and Hill Martyr Mazlum at the border to Metina area of Medya Defense Zones between 16.30 – 17.00 yesterday.

RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY BY TURKISH AIRCRAFT

HPG statement reported that an intense activity of reconnaissance flights by Turkish aircraft took place over Garê area of Medya Defense Zones between 19:00 yesterday and 05:00 today; and over Omerya ad Bagok areas of Mardin province between 00.00 – 04.00 today.
