Turkish warplanes have shelled guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory yesterday evening and night.

According to reports by local sources, the bombardment began at 20:00 in the evening and lasted throughout the night.

The airstrikes by Turkish jets targeted the surroundings of Pırde Şale, Enzê and Kalatuka villages of Qandil region, as well as the cemetery in the village of Pırde Şale.

Xakurkê and Heftanin areas of Medya Defense Zones were also shelled by Turkish warplanes last night.
