Turkish military activity and bombardment in Dersim countryside
Turkish army has increased its military activities in the province of Dersim amid already ongoing operations in various parts across Northern Kurdistan territory.
Troops at the Amutka Outpost in Dersim's Hozat district began to shell Amutka and Aliboğazı regions with mortars and many soldiers were airdropped into the rural areas near Lower Taner and Upper Taner villages.
Many Sikorsky helicopters taking off from the 4th Commando Brigade in Dersim city center are heading towards Pülümür Valley.
As the military activity continues, Turkish army also airdropped many soldiers in the Alacık (Roşnek) region. Local sources report that the road to Alacık village, which is uninhabited, has been closed with trenches.
