A curfew imposed in Amed's Silvan district this morning has been followed by heavy attacks by Turkish 'security forces' against three neighborhoods.

Following the imposition of the sixth curfew declared in the district in recent months, Turkish forces have started to attack the neighborhoods of Tekel, Konak and Mescit where self-rule and self-defense against the state's attacks continues for months.

Armored military tanks have been deployed on Gaza Topê site overlooking the three neighborhoods which are at the same time being targeted by attacks with panzers and armored vehicles from Azizoğlu and Eski Bitlis streets. In addition, soldiers dispatched from three villages located to the south of the district have been deployed in the area.

In the meantime, a huge blast has occurred at the point of special operation police teams that attempted to enter Tekel end Mescit neighborhoods from Azizoğlu street with panzers and armored vehicles. While two special operation members were seen to be patrolling at the scene before the blast, policemen disappeared from the area after the blast. The fate of the policemen is not clear yet.

As attacks by Turkish state forces against three neighborhoods are getting heavier, power has been cut in the mentioned areas and police teams are being responded by residents with resistance.
