A youth from Rojava was killed by Turkish soldiers at the border between Rojava (West) and Bakur (North) Kurdistan.

20-year-old Elî Xelşîko from Sorikê village of Efrîn's Reco district was trying to cross into Bakur when he was murdered by soldiers of the Turkish army. He was reportedly shot by dozens of bullets. 

Efrîn Canton Council of Interior Affairs called upon people to avoid crossing the border for security reasons in consideration of the ongoing conflict in the region.
