The invading Turkish state bombed the Reshawa region in Derelok, the vicinity of the Zap area and the villages in the skirts of the Kure Jaro with fighter jets for 3 hours on January 23.
In the aftermath of the bombing, it was discovered that 2 civilians were killed in the Etute village in the skirts of the Kure Jaro mountain, and 4 civilians were killed in the Reshawa region.
NAMES OF THE KILLED
The identities of civilians killed in Turkish state airstrikes against Derelok, Zap and Avashin have been determined.
Sitki Sinci Rekani, Hekim Kiryaderi, Sidat Sidan, Ciger Sidan and Ali Sidan, two brothers and a cousin, were martyred in the attacks.
Civilians named Ismet Sitei, Saban Dihuki, Faxir Sarki were martyred in Geliye Balinde, along the Avashin river behind Sheladize.
3 siblings from the Doski clan named Tahir Nerwe Sito, Mecid Nerwe Sito, Ramazan Nerwe Sito were martyred in the Turkish state airstrike in their village Nerwe.
Civilians Remezan Mihemmed Abdurrahman, Ismail Hesen and Dilowan Salih from the Eredine clan in Amadiya lost their lives in the attack against the Eredine village.
2 civilians were killed in the Etute village in an attack while they were going fishing in the Reshawa region on January 23.
PEOPLE HELD A MARCH
After the funerals for the 6 civilians killed in Reshwa and Etute, the people of Derelok and Sheladize held a protest march against the regional and Iraqi governments who remained silent in the face of Turkish state attacks. The protests led to the invading Turkish state stopping the attacks and withdrawing from the occupied areas.
PESHMERGA COMMANDER: WE WILL STRIKE THE INVADERS!
The biggest protest against the massacre in Reshawa, Derelok and Etute, Zap came from a peshmerga commander, who said: “It doesn’t matter which party the deceased were members of. They were Kurdish, and the Turkish state carried out the massacre. We will strike the MIT vehicles crossing through our territory with RPG-7s and remove them from our lands.”
