The HPG Press Center issued a written statement on air strikes carried out by the Turkish army in Kurdistan territory.

The HPG statement said: "On 23 March, the Turkish warplanes carried out an airstrike on the area of Şêx Cuma in Bitlis. In this bombardment, 3 of our friends fell martyrs. The identity information of our fallen friends will be shared with the public at a later stage."

The statement continued: "On 13 May the warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the area of Şikefta Birindara in the Zap region of the Medya Defense Zones at 3 pm, and the area of Hill Sor in the Avashin region at 1 pm and 8.30 pm. We did not experience any loss in these bombardments."
