Public servants including teachers and health workers have been taking to the streets across Bashure (Southern) Kurdistan for 12 days in protest at the government that does not pay their salaries.
Today, people in Koya and Ranya took to the streets with the slogans "We want our salaries" and "Government resign".
Protesters who include health care workers and teachers vowed to resume strikes until the austerity measures are abolished and they get their salaries in full.
