Two people have been killed as a result of fire opened by special operation police in Turgut Özal neighborhood of Kızıltepe town Tuesday afternoon.

While gunshots from the area followed a blast near Dicle Primary School, two people are said to have engaged in gunfight with police, and shot dead there.

While the area has been encircled by police forces, prosecutor is expected to go to the scene soon.
