Two people have been killed in ongoing attacks by state forces on the 45th day of the curfew and onslaught in Amed's central Sur district.

While neighborhoods protected by popular resistance are being targeted by heavy arms, tanks deployed in Mardinkapı area have conducted attacks mainly on the areas of Arap Şeyh Mosque, Kurşunlu Mosque in Fatihpaşa neighborhood and Süleyman Nazif Elementary School throughout the night.

Intense clashes erupted between Civil Defense Units (Yekinêyên Parastina Sîvîl, YPS) and state forces that attempted to infiltrate into Hasırlı neighborhood last night. The area was intensely shelled by Turkish forces during the heavy fighting.

Two people killed in the attacks by state forces remain unidentified.
