Rescue efforts continue at the copper mine where a landslide occurred on November 17 in Şirvan district of Siirt.
Out of the 16 miners that got tapped under the ground as a result of the landslide, bodies of 8 had been retrieved during the past one week and 2 more have been retrieved from the mine yesterday evening.
Rescue efforts continue for the remaining 6 trapped workers.
The copper mine, operated by a private company, is located in Maden village 12 km west of Şirvan district.
