Vigil for Öcalan in Maxmur taken over by 34th group

The vigil which started on 20 July at Martyr Rustem Cudi Refugee Camp, Maxmur, to demand freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, continues on its 169th day. The vigil has been taken over by the 34th group.
Activists gathered at the Youth Association and observed a minute of silence for the martyrs of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle. Then, Sedi Aloşî made a speech on behalf of the 33rd group.
Aloşî condemned the isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and said: "We invite everyone who says they support human rights to embrace our Leader and break the isolation imposed on him. We want freedom for our leader and freedom for the Kurdish people."
After the speech, the vigil was handed over to the 34th group.
