Within the scope of the protests against the isolation imposed by Turkey on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, a vigil was launched in Kirkuk city of Southern Kurdistan yesterday. The vigil at Xeyyam Park draws intense interest from the people.
Representatives of the Kirkuk Hizbi Zehmetkeşan visited the tent of vigil early in the morning and voiced support to the demand of vigil participants.
The demo committee stated that they will be receiving visits from Dakuk, Çemçemal and Taqtaq this evening, and the vigil will end after a press statement highlighting the demands of participants for the Kurdish leader.
