Şaze Mıhemed said that they will resist the attacks as Women Group against the Occupation, also called on the people of South Kurdistan to mobilise against the occupation.

A large number of women, called the Women Against the Occupation, protested against the invading Turkish state at the spot of the Kortek massacre.

A press statement was read by Şaze Mıhemed on behalf of the women.

The statement commemorated Zeynep Kınacı (Zîlan) who gave her life in Dersim to protest the assassination attempt in Damascus against PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan in 1996.

Şaze Mıhemed said: "We are here to protest the Turkish state massacre and attacks on South Kurdistan with the same spirit of Martyr Zilan. We condemn the silence of the Kurdistan Region government on the attacks and define it as cooperation. ”

Şaze Mıhemed said that they will resist the attacks as Women Group against the occupation, and called on the people of South Kurdistan to mobilise against the occupation.

The women also visited the human shield activists in Binarê Qendîl. The action has been promoted by young people.
