Yekgirtû pulls out of Southern Kurdistan government

Yekgırtûya İslamiya Kurdistanê (Kurdistan Islamic Union Party) has pulled out of the government in Southern Kurdistan.

Yekgırtûya İslamiya Kurdistanê (Kurdistan Islamic Union Party) Secretary General Selahaddin Behaddin announced that his party has pulled out of the government in Southern Kurdistan.

Speaking at a press conference following a party assembly on Tuesday, Behaddin said; “After our meeting with the government, we understood that some fundamental demands of ours will not be fulfilled. For this reason, we have decided to pull out of the government by a majority vote during today’s meeting.”
