One of the areas where the Turkish army has launched an invasion operation in cooperation with the KDP is the Kurojahro region in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).
Free Women's Troops (YJA Star) guerrilla teams taking part in the resistance since the first day of the war in the Kurojahro area spoke to ANF. “The Turkish state would not dare to attack our areas without the cooperation of the KDP,” they said.
Guerrillas Rahşan Baran and Jin Hasret Çiya told ANF that the Turkish army failed to airdrop its troops in the Kurojahro area on the first day of the war, and Turkish soldiers entered into the guerrilla areas via Şeladizê.
The female fighters emphasized that the Turkish state would not dare to attack guerrilla areas without the cooperation of the KDP. They added that they would not let the enemy pass in the Kurojahro area and would continue their actions.
