Special operation police executed a youth in Dargeçit (Kerboran) district of Mardin.

It has been learned that the 18-year-old youth by the name of İdris Cebe was executed late yesterday evening, soon after the ending of the curfew and heavy attacks by police forces that lasted for days.

The youth's body was taken to Mardin State Hospital by an ambulance that went to the scene of execution in the rural area of the district.

A post-mortem examination performed today revealed that the youth lost his life after being shot by a single bullet behind his ear.

Cebe will be laid to rest following a funeral ceremony to be held in Dargeçit today afternoon.
