Youth from Southern Kurdistan visit Ozdemir
Two youth movements from Southern Kurdistan visited Merwan Memduh Ozdemir, who is on a death fast against the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Sulaimaniyah.
Sulaimaniyah Revolutionary Young Women’s Movement and Southern Kurdistan Patriotic Youth Society visited the death fasters and hunger strikers in the Mesopotamia Workers’ Association.
The indefinite alternating hunger strike in Sulaimaniyah has continued for 154 days.
Merwan Memduh Ozdemir, who started a death fast 3 days ago, greeted the young visitors and expressed his joy at receiving them. The youth gave the hunger strikers white headscarves as gifts.
