According to the YPG statement, jihadist groups attacked the YPG/YPJ positions in Bozafanê village to the south of Efrîn on 23 November night. The immediate response of Defense Units left 2 members of the gangs dead.
Another attack by gang groups targeted the same YPG/YPJ positions on 24 November, which was also retaliated by Defense Units.
The statement reported that combatants of the YPG/YPG (People's/Women's Defense Units) conducted an offensive against gang groups near Derjimêl village in south Efrîn between 21.00 and 22.00 on 23 November.
While a short-lasting clash took place between Defense Units and gangs who were getting prepared for an attack, 1 member of the gang groups was killed during the offensive.
On the other hand, gang groups in south Jarablus carried out a mortar attack against the eastern countryside of Qereqozax village between 22.00 and 24.00 yesterday night. Another heavy weaponry attack by the gangs targeted the Zormixar village to the west of Kobanê at 02.00 last night.
TURKISH ARMY ATTACKS AGAINST ROJAVA CONTINUE
YPG also reported ongoing attacks by the Turkish military aiming at the YPG's security positions near Kobanê region borderline since October 24 to the time.
Accordingly, Turkish troops deployed on the borderline of of Girê Spî (Tal Abyad) conducted an attack targeting the Zeytuna position to the west the city from 24:00 of 24 November night till 05:00 yesterday morning.
The attack with heavy weaponry luckily caused no casualties thanks to the precautions taken by Defense Units.
