YPG Press Office has released a statement reporting ongoing attacks by Turkish army against Rojava, West Kurdistan, in Syrian territory.

According to the statement, Turkish army’s attacks that are aiming at the People’s Defense Units (YPG)’s security positions near Kobanê region borderline since October 24 continue increasigly to the time.

YPG stated that Turkish troops in armored vehicles patrolled at Girê Spî (Tal Abyad) borderline and opened random fire at Defense Units’ locations from 20:00 yesterday evening till late hours in the night.

YPG Press Office also reported an attack by Turkish troops against the Zeytuna position to the west of Girê Spî, which endured from 3 am last night until early this morning.
