YPS: Eight soldiers killed in a sabotage action in Hakkari
YPS reported that a sabotage action conducted by their side against an armored vehicle left eight soldiers dead and five others wounded.
YPS (Civilian Defense Units) General Coordination said in a written statement that their units carried out a sabotage action targeting an armored vehicle of Turkish military travelling on the road between Gever (Yüksekova) and Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district of Hakkari.
According to the statement, eight soldiers were verified killed and five others were wounded in the sabotage action at 18:50 on August 9.
