YPS (Civil Defense Units) General Coordination released a statement detailing the actions conducted by their members in the mainly Kurdish city Amed.
According to the statement, YPS members damaged an armored vehicle of Turkish forces in a sabotage action in İplik area of Amed at 03:00 on December 15 night. The number of Turkish forces killed or wounded during this action couldn't be clarified.
On December 16, YPS members hit the policemen standing guard in front of the Governor's Office, which left 2 policemen injured.
Three other policemen got injured as YPS members hit a patrolling vehicle of special operations police in Kaynartepe area of Amed's central Bağlar district on December 18.
