Civil Defense Units (YPS) Press Office released a statement announcing that AKP Lice district vice chairman Orhan Mercan has been punished by YPS-JIN units.

The statement by YPS Press Office is as follows:

“On June 30 night, a YPS-JIN unit named 'Martyr Berfin Vengeance Team' punished AKP Lice district vice chairman Orhan Mercan. Besides serving for AKP district organisation, this person also engaged in spying activities for the enemy in and around Lice, imposed agencification on youths and organized prostitution. This person had already been warned against these issues before. After him ignoring these warnings, our YPS-JIN forces carried out this action against him.”
