YPS stated that Turkish state forces in Mardin's Nusaybin district treat civilians as militants to distort the truth after the recent retreat of YPS forces to avoid civilian deaths.
The General Coordination of Civil Defense Units (YPS) reported that the Turkish state treats the civilians in Nusaybin as YPS members and attempts to arrest them in an effort to hide its defeat and overshadow the resistance.
YPS General Coordination said in a written statement that injured people, civilians, elderly, women and children were facing attempts of arrest as part of a totally psychological war propaganda.
The statement said; "The Turkish state conveys some true incidents by combining them with unreal cases as it pretends to have accomplished in Nusaybin by means of fabricated media reports."
