Ten members of the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) who were taken into custody four days ago in Mersin have been referred to the Adana Court by the instruction of Adana Special Authorized Public Prosecutor.

BDP PM Member Seyithan Kaya, BDP Mersin Provincial Chairs Nurettin Atuð, Osman Aka, Akdeniz Municipality Members Selim Ekinci and Hasan Arýk, DÖKH Activist Bedriye Bükte, Necmettin Pala, Nasýr Özmen and Cuma Takýr are alleged to have “organized demonstrations and protest acts and bringing members in the organization”.

While the investigation file was put under confidentiality, detainees have been taken to Adana Court after being interrogated at Mersin Security Directorate.
