DEM Party delegation holds talks in the UK

DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan and his delegation began their talks in the UK.

Following meetings with representatives of all parties in the Federal Parliament of Germany, a delegation of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) traveled to the UK.

The delegation headed by co-chair Tuncer Bakırhan participated in a special roundtable meeting at the world-renowned think tank Chatham House today.


During the meeting, which was attended by many prominent figures, including politicians, Bakırhan provided information on the Peace and Democratic Society Process carried out in Turkey and shared the DEM Party's solutions and perspectives on the ongoing wars and conflicts in the Middle East.

Bakırhan then attended a symposium at the House of Lords, which lasted all day.


The symposium, which was also attended by Osman Baydemir, a Kurdish politician in exile, and British politicians, attracted intense media interest.

Bakırhan provided information about the Peace and Democratic Society Process in Turkey and called for support.

The DEM Party co-chair emphasized that the status quo established in the region 100 years ago has created chaos, war, and conflict, and called for everyone to seek solutions to the problems in the region with a new perspective and philosophy.
