At least 17 police were reported killed as a result of an airstrike targeting the special operations police headquarters in Ankara's Gölbaşı district.

State-run Anadolu Agency reports many other police have been injured.

Reports say that many policemen were also killed in the Security Directorate that was also targeted by bombardments.
