In Atasehir district of Istanbul, police wanted to stop a suspicious car on move in the neighborhood of Mustafa Kemal.

According to reports, the driver did not obey the stop warning, after which police opened fire on the car, killing 17-year-old Cihan Seyhan in it.

While A.S. who was in the same car was taken into custody, driver G.S. rushed off from the scene running on foot.

Tensions erupted between the police and Cihan Seyhan’s family members who went to the hospital after the incident. The slain minor’s body has been taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute in Yenibosna for a post-mortem examination.
