The governor’s office in Bingöl has claimed that 4 people were shot dead by police in a vehicle which failed to comply with an order to stop in the Genç district of the province, while 2 other occupants of the vehicle were captured alive.

The governor’s office in Bingöl issued a written statement yesterday regarding the incident, which is said may be connected with an attack on high ranking police officers, including the head of the Bingöl police department, Atalay Ürker. The statement claimed that 4 people inside the vehicle were killed, and another 2 people were captured alive.
