A court in the southern province of Mersin has ordered the arrest of 32 out of 102 people who were taken into custody for taking part in last week's protest demos against ISIS gangs' ongoing attacks on the Kobanê town of West Kurdistan.

The 102 people detained during the police crackdown on protestors have been referred to Mersin Courthouse today after bearing testimony at the prosecution office of Mersin.

40 of the detainees have been released while 62 others demanded to be arrested were referred to two separate courts early Tuesday.

32 among them, including children, have been remanded in custody and sent to prison for allegedly "being members of a terrorist organization" and "spreading propaganda for a terrorist organization".
