35 gang members have been killed in the offensive launched late Tuesday evening by YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defence Units) who have put a heroic resistance in the face of intensified ISIS attacks on Kobanê since 15 September.

The YPG offensive against the gangs attacking with heavy weaponry was launched in the east and west sides of Kobanê.

According to the reports coming through, 35 members of the gangs were killed in an action targeting a group of gang militants as they entered a hospital building on the Aleppo road.
