It is reported that at least 4 gang members were killed and many others were wounded after HPG (People’s Defence Forces) guerrillas launched an attack with mortars on the positions of the gangs near the city of Kirkuk in South Kurdistan. The HPG operation was carried out in the village of Vahde in Dakuka district last night.

The HPG guerrillas bombarded a group of ISIS gang members in the Talaban Region of Dakuk at around 23:00. After the mortar attack, the guerrillas launched an operation against the ISIS gangs. 4 gang members were killed and many others were wounded during the attack.

In the same area, a bomb-laden vehicle of the gangs was recognised by the guerrillas and it was destroyed. It has emerged that the bomb-laden vehicle was prepared in order to be detonated in the village of Abdulganim.

Meanwhile, traps set up by the ISIS gangs in the area are being destroyed by the guerrillas. 7 of them were destroyed in the latest operation.
