The BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) has entered Parliament on 1 October stating that the first item on the agenda must be peace. The month of September was for peace a bad month indeed.
The security forces have taken 771 people into custody. Two hundred eighty six of those detained, including four mayors, 11 minors, a 75 year-old citizen and three journalists were convicted of crimes related to "aiding and/or support an illegal organization".
