Öcalan's Italian lawyers visited hunger striker Aydemir

Erol Aydemir has been on hunger strike in Rome for 46 days.

Kurdish activist Erol Aydemir went on hunger strike in the island of Sardinia where he was living and where he decided to join the hunger strike resistance led by HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

After a few days, Aydemir moved to Rome where he is continuing his hunger strike.

On Saturday Aydemir was visited by Abdullah Öcalan's Italian lawyers Arturo Selerni and Mario Antonio Angelelli.

The lawyers read to Aydemir the text of a call demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The text was signed by a large number of politicians and lawyers, the head of the Court of Cassation, two former undersecretaries, and the President of the Association of Democratic Jurists.
