Şenyaşar family says officials cover murderers
The Şenyaşar family, who has been holding a Justice Vigil for 77 days for their murdered relatives in Urfa, said that "The murderers are known but there is no prosecutor to do what is necessary.”
The Justice Vigil of Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by bodyguards and relatives of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in same the attack, is continuing in Urfa.
The family came to the Urfa Courthouse in the early hours of the morning on the 77th day of their justice vigil.
The family shared a new message on Twitter, which said, "Three of us were murdered at the Suruç State Hospital. We will end our vigil if officials make a statement and say, ‘This has not happened’. The murderers are known but there is no prosecutor to do what is necessary. Our struggle for JUSTICE will continue until justice is served… We will not be silent.”
