An envoy of Kurdish politicians from West Kurdistan met the President of the KCK`s Executive Council Murat Karayilan in Qandil last week.

According to local sources Sellal Gedo (Kurdish Leftist Pary), Mihamed Hemo (spokesman of Syrian parties of the alliance) and Behcet Bashir (El Party) came together with Karayilan on 21st April.
The popular uprising in the Middle East and Syria and the situation of the Kurds in West Kurdistan were the main topics on the agenda. The leaders came to an agreement that the Kurds need to speak with one voice and act collectively, and be in solidarity.
According to the sources, it was noted at the meeting that the demand for political and cultural rights of the Kurds has to be recognized and to be guaranteed.
Kurds in Syria should leave the past behind and open a new page, said Murat Karayilan, President of the KCK`s Executive Council.
