Abdülhamit Orbay, who was imprisoned in Tekirdağ No. 2 F Type Closed Prison, was released after 30 years. Orbay, who was tried at the State Security Court (DGM) in 1992 in Bismil district of Diyarbakır, was sentenced to life imprisonment. Orbay, who was transferred to prisons in Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Yozgat, Siirt, İzmir, Siverek, Hilvan, Elazığ and Tekirdağ in those years, was released from prison at the age of 60.

White dove flying

Orbay was welcomed in front of the prison by his family, friends, and the Marmara Association for Assistance with the Relatives of Prisoners and Convicts (MA TUHAY-DER). Orbay let a white dove flying at the exit of the prison.

It was learned that Orbay will return to his hometown Diyarbakir today morning.
