Action in solidarity with hunger strikers in Düsseldorf

Women, covering their heads with white scarves in solidarity with the Peace Mothers, protested the silence of European countries and world public opinion on the hunger strike resistance.

An action was promoted in Düsseldorf to support the hunger strike resistance led by HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven.

The action, promoted by the Nalin Muş Women's Initiative in Düsseldorf, began with a minute silence in memory of the martyrs of Kurdistan and revolution at Heinrich-Heine-Platz.

Women, covering their heads with white scarves in solidarity with the Peace Mothers, protested the silence of European countries and world public opinion on the hunger strike resistance. Activists also opened a banner aimed at Amnesty International saying that they will have 7000 lives on their conscience. 

The action ended with a call for strong participation in the solidarity actions to be carried out in the coming days.
