Actions for Hasankeyf in Frankfurt and Rome
Actions have been promoted in Rome and Frankfurt to mark the Global Day of Action for Hasankeyf.
In Frankfurt activists protested the decision by the Turkish government to flood the historical site of Hasankeyf.
In Rome activists met at the Cinema hall of the Kurdish Social-Cultural Centre Ararat where the documentaries “Il giorno della Morte dell’Acqua” (The Day water died) by Ali Ergül e “Motel Hasankeyf” by Valeria Mazzucchi, were screened.
The screening was followed by Kurdish music.
