Actions to protest violence against women in 3 European cities

Massacres, rape and sexual assaults against women were protested in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Den Haag.

The women's councils in Düsseldorf promoted a demonstration to protest rape and sexual assault carried out by the occupying Turkish government against women. The actions also protested Turkish attacks of South Kurdistan.

Women's councils, CENI women's peace office and Turkei Zentrum activists joined the action held at Schadowplatz.

BERLIN

Activists in Berlin also protested the attacks against women in Turkey.

The action was held at Nollendorfplatz and activists chanted slogans such as "We will fight together", "We will succeed together", "We will stop the massacres of women", "Jin, jiyan, azadi".

DEN HAAG

Massacres, rapes and sexual assaults against women were protested in Den Haag, the Netherlands.

The action was organized by the Ronahi Women's Council in front of the Dutch Parliament.

Speakers said that the AKP government tried to normalize violence against women.
