A mass demonstration was held in Bordeaux to protest the Paris massacres.
More than a thousand people gathered in the Place de Bourse square and marched towards the courthouse and Bordeaux Municipality, chanting slogans. Banners saying "We will not forgive, we will not forget", "France will remain guilty until justice is served", "Let the state secret be lifted and justice done" were carried along by activists, together with the photos of Sakine Cansız (Sara), Fidan Doğan (Rojbîn), Leyla Şaylemez (Ronahî), Emine Kara (Evîn Goyî), Mîr Perwer and Abdurrahman Kızıl.
A leaflet in French was read and distributed to the public. The march, supported by French Kurdish friends, trade unions and political parties, continued with a rally in front of the City Hall.
The rally, which started with a minute’s silence in memory of the Martyrs of Paris, continued with the speeches of representatives of La France Insoumise, Ensemble, NPA, Revolution Permanente, Solidarite33 and FSU.
